Who we are

Suspension Werks is a suspension sales and service company located in the Yakima, Wa. area in south central Washington, just a stone's throw from Pomeroy Memorial Motocross Raceway, but serving customers nation-wide.

We support old dirt bikes, new dirt bikes, street bikes, quads, side-by-sides, snowmobiles and more. If your vehicle or toy uses suspension pushing oil through a hole, we can help.

Suspension Werks is owned and operated by Steve Clark.

A lifelong dirt bike/motocross enthusiast, Steve became more and more intrigued with modern suspension systems as the technology progressed.

To support that interest, Steve traveled to RaceTech's headquarters in Corona, CA to receive training in:

- Springs and Spring Theory

- Suspension Fluids

- Hydraulics

- Damping, Damping Curves

- Valving Theory, Valving Systems

- Shock and Fork Gold Valve Theory

- Gold Valve Cartridge Emulator Theory

- Suspension Troubleshooting

All classes were taught by RaceTech's founder and owner, Paul Thede, who graduated Summa Cum Laude in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly Tech and has a distinguished technical background.

Steve has remained active in motorcycling, racing primarily vintage motocross and most recently completing two years of service as president of the Tieton Highlanders Vintage Motocross Club.

With a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, experience working in the engineering division of a large defense contractor, specializing in development and testing of precision miniature electrical/electromechanical components for nuclear weapons and decades of experience maintaining and rebuilding his own vehicles, Steve stands ready to serve you!
